The Barn
It’s hard to believe but our Barn only opened in April 2019. Up until November 2018 the building was derelict and leaked terribly. However, we secured enough funding to enable the refurbishment and opened on 1st April 2019.
Many of the original features have been retained, and the original stone walls left to reveal their beauty.

The Barn gave us the chance to offer you a much wider selection of products and we are now happy to stock bulbs, seeds and carry-pack composts; gardening sundries; garden tools and machinery; together with food for wild birds, fish food; and DIY supplies including indoor paint, garden paint.
Gardening Tools & Equipment

We stock a lovely range of quality garden tools from the Spear and Jackson ‘Kew’ range – all at competitive prices.
We also stock a wide range of gloves and sundries. If you can’t find what you want or you need some advice, our lovely staff are always on hand to offer advice or help, and a cheery ‘Hello!’

Seeds & Bulbs
Our bulbs, corms & tubers are supplied by Taylors Bulbs - a fourth generation family business, growing and supplying flower bulbs since 1919. Daffodils are grown on their farm in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. Spring bulbs look particularly good planted underneath herbaceous perennials as these plants will grow and cover up the bulbs when they have gone over.
Our Seed collection has been hand-picked by Sue to include as many varieties as we can. Our range of Unwins seeds includes their famous range of sweet peas. We also stock Franchi seeds ("the most ethical major packet seed brand"Ethical Consumer Magazine) and Vegetarian Society approved. Their seeds are grown free from neonicotinoids so are not harmful to bees or other beneficial insects.
Garden Care
We stock everything you need to keep your garden in tip top condition from grass seed to slug control, fertilisers to feeds, weed and rodent control. We also have a a range of organic/pet friendly slug controls, and pest traps, as well as a wide range of bird food and feeders and fish food.
Pots & Containers
We always have a wide range of pots. From traditional terracotta which look good just about anywhere, to glazed and colourful ceramic pots that you can use to create a lovely colour scheme throughout the garden. All our outdoor pots and containers are frost proof. Combine them with new shrubs and container plants and you'll brighten up any space.
Pot feet are also available together with pot trolleys.
DIY
Inside the Barn you'll find a range of DIY supplies including indoor paint, garden paint, furniture paintoils, wood filler, glues, tape and more.
